We’re Taking Fohs Hall To The Next level

Located in Marion, KY, Fohs Hall is one of the most unique event venues in western Kentucky. Fohs Hall, Inc. is embarking on an exciting campaign to raise funds to installnew sound and lighting systems.The goal is to take Fohs Hall to the next level as a regional performing arts Center. An initial proposal has been received from Telecast Communications of Hodgenville KY. to purchase and install the new systems for $45,000. Telecast installed and maintains the lighting & sound systems at the Lincoln Jamboree,in Hodgenville, KY where regional entertainers Classy & Grassy regularly perform. Other expenses associated will involve preliminary electrical work and other incidental expenses that will push the total cost to over $50,000.

If you have ever attended schoolor events at Fohs Hallplease consider supporting this worthwhile project to keep Fohs Hall one of the premier event destinations in western Kentucky. The Board of Directors of Fohs Hall Inc. believes that this is the next step in fulfilling the vision of Julius Fohs when he donated Fohs Hall to the citizens of Marion in 1926.

A GoFundMe Account has been created called “Fohs Hall Performing Arts Center”. Also, contributions maybemailed directly to Fohs Hall at PO Box 1, Marion, KY 42064. Fohs Hall will be making grant applications to various sources as well as holding some special fundraising events.

The goal is to have the systems installed by the next production of “The Kentucky Hayride” which is scheduled for November 13, 2021.

Fohs Hall is a 501c3 charitable organization (EI#31-1038947) and incorporated as a Kentucky non-profit corporation, therefore, most contributions are tax deductible.
